Oni Masks
Legend says that during a blood moon, the peace gate separating the spirit realm and the human realm opens and demons come out to roam the streets. Of the many ghost stories, the tale of the ghost geisha and the crimson oni is the most well-known. The ghost geisha, wearing a white fox mask, stood guard at the gates alone and cut down any demon that tried to pass. A single-armed crimson oni charged at her, and the two battled until dawn. No evidence was left of the fight except a white fox mask on the ground.
